Galway Bay fm newsroom:
University Hospital Galway is the third most overcrowded hospital in the country today with 38 people waiting on trolleys or elsewhere in A&E.
The worst affected is University Hospital Limerick with 65 people awaiting beds, according to the INMO.
While 51 people are on trolleys in Letterkenny University Hospital.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show that 559 patients are awaiting admission across the country.
