UHG third most overcrowded for second day in a row

Galway Bay fm newsroom - UHG is the third most overcrowded hospital nationwide for the second day in a row.

35 patients are waiting on trolleys or along wards at the facility. There are also 35 at Mayo University Hosiptal.

Nationally, the number of people being treated on trolleys has exceeded 600.

Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded with 73 people awaiting beds, followed by 57 at University Hospital Limerick
