UHG sees week on week decrease in number of Covid 19 hospitalisations

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are 24 Covid 19 patients receiving care at UHG today, compared to 37 this day last week.

The latest figures show a 35% week on week decrease in the number of coronavirus patients.

There are four patients in the ICU, compared to six ICU patients on this day last week.

Elsewhere, there are nine patients with the virus receiving care at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe, compared to 10 this day last week.

The East Galway facility is treating one patient in the ICU, a decrease of one ICU patient when compared to last week.
