UHG second-worst hit hospital for overcrowding today

Galway Bay fm newsroom- University Hospital Galway continues to deal with overcrowding issues this week.

It’s the second worst-hit hospital in the country today, with 43 people waiting on trolleys or along wards according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

534 patients are waiting for beds in hospitals across the country.

The worst hit is University Hospital Limerick with 45 people waiting.
