UHG second most overcrowded hospital nationwide with 50 waiting for beds

Galway Bay fm newsroom - University Hospital Galway is the 2nd most overcrowded hospital in the country today.

There are currently 50 patients waiting for a bed at the facility.

That's the same number as University Hospital Limerick, and behind Cork University Hospital, which is the most overcrowded hospital in the country with 56 patients awaiting beds.

According to the INMO, there are currently 521 patients waiting for beds nationwide.
