UHG second most overcrowded hospital nationwide today

Galway Bay fm newsroom – UHG is the second most overcrowded hospital in the country today.

There are currently 45 people on trolleys, according to the INMO.

That’s second only to University Hospital Limerick, where 90 patients are without a bed.

Meanwhile, there are 8 people on trolleys at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

Overall, 365 people are waiting for a bed in hospitals around the country today.
