UHG second most overcrowded hospital nationwide for the fourth time this week

Galway Bay fm newsroom - University Hospital Galway is the second most overcrowded hospital nationwide today – for the fourth time this week.

48 patients are waiting on trolleys or in wards at the emergency department.

Nationally, the most overcrowded hospital today is University Hospital Limerick – which has 63 patients awaiting a bed this morning.

Figures released from today's INMO Trolley Watch show a total of 409 admitted patients are waiting for beds around the country.
