UHG COVID 19 numbers fall to new low of 10

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The number of COVID 19 patients being treated at UHG has reached a new low of 10.

Latest figures reveal the city acute hospital has 10 virus patients in its care, with two in the ICU.

One month ago, UHG was treating 41 COVID 19 patients, with four in ICU.

Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe has experienced a similar trend with two patients being treated.

This compares to eight patients being treated at the East Galway facility one month ago.
