UGH and Waterford University Hospital have country's longest waiting lists

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Taoiseach and Health Minister are being urged to tackle growing hospital waiting lists.

Almost 700 thousand people are currently waiting on treatment in a public hospital - with the longest waiting lists in Galway University Hospital and University Hospital Waterford.

Close to half a million of those are waiting for their first appointment with a consultant.
