Two public consultation events on North Galway water quality project

Two public consultation events are being held in relation to a water quality project in North Galway.

Ahead of a public meeting in September, people in areas of North Galway are being invited to share what they know about the Islands and Springfield rivers.

The rivers form part of a demonstration sub-catchment of the Waters of LIFE project – an EU-funded project trialling water quality solutions with local communities.

The project is hosting drop-in consultations in Williamstown Parish Hall tomorrow and the digital hub in Ballinlough on Thursday – both events will run from 12:30 to 14:30 and 18:30 to 20:30
