Two men in their 20s have been taken to University Hospital Galway following a serious single vehicle collision in Dunmore.
The incident involving a car, on the R360 at Ballintava, Dunmore, occurred at approximately 2.30am.
The road is closed, and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A man in his 20s has been taken to UHG with serious injuries following the single-vehicle collision in Ballintava, Dunmore in the early hours of this morning.
The male passenger of the car, also in his 20’s, was also taken to UHG for treatment of injuries, believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
The road is currently closed for technical examination, and local traffic diversions are in place.
Gardaí are asking those with camera or dashcam footage dashcam, who were travelling in the area of Ballintava, Dunmore between 1.30am and 2.30am this morning to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
