Two confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Galway hospitals

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are two confirmed cases of coronavirus being treated at Galway hospitals today.

The two patients are receiving care at UHG.

A further two suspected cases of the virus are being treated at the city's acute hospital, with one suspected case receiving care at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

There are 31 patients with COVID-19 being treated in intensive care settings nationwide today with none in ICU settings in Galway.

20 of these are being ventilated.
