Tuam has highest vacant commercial property rate county-wide

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Tuam has the highest vacant commercial property rate around the county.

That's according to the latest GeoView commercial vacancy report which shows Tuam's vacancy rate stands at 21 percent, while the city recorded a rate of 17 percent.

Vacancy rates have increased in Galway by 0.4 percent.

The report which is compiled by EY-DKM Economic Advisory Services found that Sligo has the highest vacancy rate at 19 percent while Meath recorded the lowest at 10 percent.

Five of the counties with the highest vacancy rates were found to be in the west.
