Galway Bay fm newsroom - A clinic will be held in Tuam tomorrow (10-09) to assist farmers in making their online applications for the beef exceptional aid measure scheme.
It comes as the deadline for applications has been extended to September 15th.
An estimated 20,000 farmers have already submitted their applications for the BEAM scheme.
However there are over 70,000 farmers nationwide who are potentially eligible.
The online clinic takes place at the Ard Ri Hotel in Tuam tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.
Department offices in Portlaoise will also have a team available to meet with farmers until the deadline for BEAM closes.
