Three Galway projects awarded over half a million in funding

Galway Bay fm newsroom- Three Galway cross-border projects have been granted a share of more than half a million euro in funding.

Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, announced the 25 projects to benefit from the Shared Island Local Authority Development Funding Scheme.

The three Galway projects are artist-led support programme, Culture Connects, Altantic Region of Creative Content and AgriFood Infrastructure Enabling Growth.

Galway city and county councils will lead the projects and collaborate with local authories in Northern Ireland and third level institutes.
