Telecommunciations pole beside Woodlawn train station to be doubled in height

Galway Bay FM newsroom – Approval has been given for the upgrade of a telecommunications pole beside Woodlawn Train Station.

Eir had sought approval to replace the existing 10m wooden pole with a 21m high monopoles with antennas and dishes.

County planners have now approved the plans with 12 conditions attached.
