Teagasc is to hold its National Lowland Sheep Conference in Tuam later this month.
A range of practial and topical sheep production issues will be addressed by speakers from the UK, Teagasc and the Department of Agriculture.
Speakers from Teagasc Athenry will also present at the conference.
Dr.Frank Campion,Tesgasc Sheep Research Officer will present an paper on the importance of sheep production farmers to check ewe BCS to influence management decisions.
While Grassland Nutrition Researcher Sarah Woodman will speak on botancially diverse swards playing an important role in einvrionmenal sustainality on pasture based sheep production systems.
The conference will take place at the Ard Rí House Hotel in Tuam on Tuesday January 28th at 7 pm.
