TD Mairéad Farrell says children's mental health care has reached 'crisis point'

Galway Bay fm newsroom -Local TD Mairéad Farrell is warning children's mental health care in Galway and Ireland is at a 'crisis point'.

The Galway West TD cites there are almost 300 young people waiting for appointments with CAHMS across Galway, Roscommon and Mayo.

She says it's unacceptable children are waiting over a year for access to Child and Adolescent Mental Health services.

Deputy Farrell is urging the Government to address the situation.
