Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Taoiseach's visit to Clifden has encountered a slight delay due to weather conditions.
Leo Varadkar was due to arrive at Clifden community school at 11am, however it's understood his helicopter has been diverted to Inverin due to weather conditions.
It's estimated this will lead to a 40 min delay.
The Taoiseach is set to unveil a plaque at the new school building upon his arrival to Galway.

He will then travel to Inis Meáin to visit Coláiste Naomh Eoin marking its establishment as a single entity school, with its own management structure, principal and deputy principal.
