Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Taoiseach is to go on the canvass in Galway from this morning, and he will visit the city, Athenry and Abbeyknockmoy through to the evening
From 11 until noon Leo Varadkar will be in the city centre, starting his walk from Eyre Square
In the afternoon at 1.30 he will visit Presentation College Athenry where he will spend an hour talking to students and staff
From there the Taoiseach will travel to Abbeyknockmoy where he will start his canvass at Sean O'Donohoe's pub
During his Galway visit the Taoiseach will be accompanied by the local party candidates for the general election
