Taoiseach supports engineering solution to Parkmore traffic crisis

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Taoiseach is supporting an 'engineering solution' to the traffic crisis at Parkmore on the outskirts of the city.

Enda Kenny was briefed on the problems at Parkmore, such as delays exiting the business park, during a meeting at Government buildings organised by Galway T.D and Gaeltacht Minister, Seán Kyne.

The Taoiseach questioned the distance between Parkmore and local routes such as the Monivea Road and N17.

He has asked for a further briefing next week, following a meeting between Minister Kyne and the City CEO, Brendan McGrath this coming Friday. (3/3)
