Galway Bay fm newsroom - Taoiseach Micheal Martin has been grilled in the Dáil over a lack of Gardai in rural areas across Galway.
Raising the issue, Deputy Clare Kerrane outlined how Garda numbers are falling since 2009 despite a significant increase in the population.
She argued people are living in fear - and a real plan is needed to tackle rural crime and anti-social behavior.
