The Tánaiste has accused Galway West TD Catherine Connolly of spreading "misinformation" over the use of Shannon Airport by the US Military.
She claimed in the Dáil that military planes carrying "tonnes of weapons" are staying overnight or passing through.
But Tánaiste and Defence Minister Michéal Martin denied this - saying it's soldiers rather than weapons that pass through the airport.
He also took exception to Deputy Connolly's claim that Ireland is complicit in genocide in Gaza.
