Swing bridge at Portumna re-opens following mechanical issues

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway County Council says the swing bridge on the N65 at Portumna has re-opened.

The bridge, which is the gateway between Galway and Tipperary, went out of service since before midday today due to mechanical issues.

It's one of the most heavily trafficked routes in the region and Waterways Ireland worked on the issues
