Status yellow wind warning issued for Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Galway, Mayo and Kerry.

The alert is valid from 8pm today and will last until 8am tomorrow.

Met Éireann is warning of gusts of up to 100 kilometres per hour, with the possiblity of wave overtopping along the coast.
