Status yellow wind warning for Galway until 5PM

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A status yellow wind warning is in place for Galway until 5PM today.

The alert, which came into effect early this morning, is also in place for County Clare.

Met Éireann isadvising there will be very strong and gusty southwest to west winds leading to some coastal flooding.
