Status orange rain and thunderstorm warning for Galway & entire country

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A status orange thunderstorm and rain warning is in place for the whole country.

Met Eireann is warning of possible flash flooding, power outages and very difficult travelling conditions.

The alert came into place just after 1PM, and remains in place until 6PM.
