Of the 11 new buildings featured in the Project Ireland 2040 plan, 6 builds in the East and South will go to tender immediately with the remaining 5, including GMIT, starting the tender process in Q1 2021.

The proposed infrastructure is designed to support practised based learning in laboratories, workshops and studios.
