Staff at UHG to be tested as part of study examining virus infection in healthcare workers

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Staff at UHG are to be tested as part of a study looking at rates of previous coronavirus infection in healthcare workers.

The staff at the city acute hospital will be invited to have a blood test to determine the presence of virus antibodies.

According to the Irish Times, the study will be repeated in six months and the results compared.

Staff at St. James' Hospital in Dublin are also taking part.
