Galway Bay fm newsroom:
Speed camera vans are now in operation at 50 new locations across Galway.
Gardaí have relocated the cameras following a three year national analysis of where crashes happen most frequently.
While new locations are now active, some have been removed in order to concentrate on areas identified as 'high risk'.
Nationally, since this morning, speed camera vans are in operation in 900 new locations.
