Galway Bay fm newsroom - A special meeting is underway at City Hall this afternoon to discuss Galway’s chronic traffic problems.
The meeting was convened last Thursday - but was deferred following heated exchanges between councillors.
Many questioned the timing of the meeting - and Galway Mayor Noel Larkin told those in attendance the executive did not have sufficient notice to provide reports.
The meeting descended into chaos, with one councillor branding the meeting a 'political stunt'.
