Galway Bay fm newsroom - House prices across the city and county increased slightly in the last three months.
In the city, the average three bed semi-detached house now costs 240 thousand euro - up over 2 percent since December.
The average home in the county costs 132 thousand euro, up 1.5 percent.
The Real Estate Alliance says the easing of the Central Bank restriction on lending for first-time buyers has had an immediate effect on the market with a large rise in numbers at viewings and potential buyers with mortgage financing.

However, REA spokesperson Healy Hynes says supply in cities including Galway remains extremely limited.
