Slight decrease in number of Galway PUP claimants

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Over 11 thousand people in Galway received the pandemic unemployment payment this week.

The figure has decreased by over 500 since last week.

Nationally, just under 212 thousand people received the State support this week, a decrease of over nine thousand on last week.

Over 7,500 people closed their PUP claim in past week to return to work.
