Skills crisis in the west focus of city summit

Galway Bay fm newsroom - More than 150 talent leaders have gathered in the city today to discuss employment issues for the region.

Ireland's largest HR conference 'Talent Summit' is taking place at the Clayton Hotel in Ballybrit.

The skills crisis being experienced west of the Shannon will be discussed at the summit as employers in the region try to lure employees from Dublin.

While traffic and accommodation are areas of concern for Galway, Regional Manager with Sigmar Galway, Sarah Williams, says Galway is still an attractive location for potential employees.
