A significant water main burst has impacted the supply to Moylough village.
Moylough, Cooloo and the surrounding area south of Gordons Cross are affected.
Uisce Eireann says water from the nearby Mountbellew Public Water Supply has been redirected to the national school and crèche in Moylough, allowing them to remain open.
Works to repair the burst had to be called off late last night for safety reasons.
Repairs resumed early this morning and are expected to be completed by approximately 4 this afternoon.
It will take 3 to 4 hours after restoration for supply to fully return.
It may take longer for normal supply to be restored to premises on higher ground or at the end of the network.
