Galway Bay fm newsroom - There's serious overcrowding at University Hospital Galway again today.
56 people are waiting on trolleys in the Emergency Department or in wards - one of the highest figures in recent months.
This is the third highest figure at hospitals nationwide today.
There are 76 patients without beds at University Hospital Limerick - the worst affected facility, according to the INMO.
That's followed by 61 at Cork University Hospital.
546 patients are waiting on trolleys nationwide.
