Galway Bay fm newsroom - The government is failing Galway emigrants who wish to return home.
That's according to Sinn Féin spokesperson for the Diaspora, Galway Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh.
He says Irish representatives in America have told him they're unhappy with the lack of progress by the government in removing obstacles that make it much more difficult for emigrants to return home.
Senator O'Clochartaigh says impediments such as the cost of car insurance and difficulties with access to education act as deterrents to people who would like to come back to Ireland.
