Galway Bay fm newsroom:
Independent Candidate Terry O'Flaherty has been voted back into her seat in the Galway East Constituency.
The full time councillor was returned in the 8th count at the Westside centre.
Cllr O'Flaherty says by the end of her new term, her family will have continuously served on Galway City council for over half a century.
