Second councillor returned to county council in Connemara count

A second councillor has been returned to county council in the Connemara North constituency.

Fine Gael councillor Eileen Mannion has reached the quota for election on the second count at the Galway Lawn Tennis Club.

Cllr Mannion says she's proud of the work done in the last 10 years and hopes to see more women involved in politics in the future.
