NUI Galway has announced details of its special maths qualifying exam which gives students a second chance to pursue a career in engineering.
The Engineering Maths Qualifying Exam will take place at the university next Tuesday, August 20th.
It's aimed at students who achieve the CAO points for an undergraduate engineering degree course at NUIG but who have not met the obligatory maths requirement.
A free course to prepare for the exam will begin from tomorrow (14/8) until Monday.
Head of the School of Engineering and Informatics at NUI Galway, Professor Peter McHugh says the free preparatory course which begins tomorrow can be of great benefit.
