Galway Bay fm newsroom - St. Raphaels College in Loughrea has been providing support to students affected by the sudden death of a fellow pupil yesterday.
Jessica Moore became unwell at a graduation debs in Ballinasloe in the early hours of yesterday and was pronounced dead in hospital a short time later.
The 19-year-old daughter of Brendan and Catherine Moore was from Bullaun, Loughrea, where her funeral will take place on Thursday.
The outcome of a post-mortem examination will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
Prinicipal of St. Raphael's College, Paul Cafferky says their thoughts and prayers are with Jessica's family and friends.
Counselling and support has been provided for Jessica's classmates who will receive their Leaving Cert results this morning and other pupils affected by the tragedy.
