Saolta Chief says HIQA report highlights mismatch between demand and capacity at UHG

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The CEO of the Saolta Hospital Groups says a recent HIQA report highlights the mismatch between demand at UHG and its capacity.

An unannounced inspection was carried out at the hospital in February, with the results issued on Monday.

In a statement, UHG has welcomed the report, saying it will work on the issues raised, which includes overcrowding, cleaning and patient flow.
