Galway Bay fm newsroom - Extensive roadworks will get underway on the N83 near Cloonacauneen tomorrow morning (27/8).
The works at Polkeen involve planing out the road surface, re-instating certain sections, road markings and drainage works.
Traffic management measures will be in place for the duration of the works, which are expected to take around six weeks to complete.
The works are being carried out by John Madden & Sons and will get underway tomorrow - motorists are being advised to allow additional time for journeys.
