Road users in the Salthill area are being warned there may be delays this evening due to the Croí Night Run.
The 9th annual 5k run, sponsored by Benecol, is taking place on the promenade, beginning at Mutton Island at 8pm.
Over 2,000 runners are expected to take part, with crowds gathering in the area in advance of the start time.
