Galway Bay fm newsroom - A road safety audit has been approved to take place at a problematic junction in Ballinasloe.
Creagh Junction on the R357 on the East side of Ballinasloe town has been the subject of many safety complaints by locals.
The audit will identify what works can be done on the junction to improve safety for motorists and pedestrians.
Local councillor Dermot Connolly says once the audit is complete, funding can be applied for any highlighted works - for more on this story tune in to Galway Bay fm news on the hour...
