Galway Bay fm newsroom - Emergency services are attending the scene of a road collision at Bohermore in which a female pedestrian was knocked down.
The incident took place at 2pm in the area outside the former Shannon Dry Cleaners.
The road from Bohermore roundabout to Prospect Hill is closed and Garda diversions are in place via College Road.
It's understood the woman's injuries are not life threatening.
