Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway's wealthiest people have been revealed in the Sunday Times Rich List for 2017.
Glenamaddy brothers Luke and Brian Comer top the list, with a combined wealth of over 900 million euro.
Also on the list is tech businessman Declan Ganley, who boasts a net worth of almost 500 million euro.
Supermac's boss Pat McDonagh and his wife Una are also among Ireland's 300 richest individuals, with a net worth of 196 million euro.
Other Galway names on the rich list include software pioneer Pearse Mee, at 137 million, construction maestro Frank Burke at 135 million, and hoteliers Kevin and Mary Flannery, who command an 81 million euro fortune.
