Revenue has seized herbal cannabis worth €120,000 in Galway city
As part of an intelligence-led operation, officers seized approximately 6kgs of herbal cannabis, subject to analysis, in Newcastle
The operation involved the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Galway Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.
A male in his 30s was arrested and is currently being detained at Garda HQ in Murrough under the Drug Trafficking Act
