Repair works on Lawlor's Bridge on N65 to be carried out in early new year

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Transport Infrasrtucture Ireland has confirmed repair works will be carried out on Lawlor's Bridge on the N65 in 2020.

It's after cracks were discovered on the bridge near Kilmeen Cross earlier this month.

An estimated nine thousand vehicles travel along the N65 daily, with many travelling over Lawlor’s Bridge.

TII has confirmed the bridge will be included in its bridge management programme for 2020 and that the structure will be monitored until repair works begin.
