Relocated Post Office officially opened in Clifden

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Minister of State and Government Chief Whip, Sean Kyne has officially opened the relocated post office in Clifden town.

The Post Office had been on Main Street, but is now located in the Square in Clifden and Rosanne Burke is the new Postmaster.

The new location in the town square is the exact same building where the Clifden Post Office was based 120 years ago.

Speaking to our reporter Mairtin O Cathain Minister Kyne praised the initiative of the Burke family in taking on the service and said it's great for Clifden the facility has been restored. For more on this story tune in to Galway Bay fm news on the hour...
